The challenge

The goal was a fast, easy-to-maintain web catalog without the overhead of running a dedicated application server.

The solution

I proposed a BaaS + Edge architecture: a React SPA with React Router, PostgreSQL data through Supabase and delivery via Cloudflare CDN (HTTP/3 and RUM metrics), with Apache as the origin server.

What was delivered

  • React SPA with client-side routing
  • Managed PostgreSQL database via Supabase
  • Cloudflare CDN with HTTP/3 and real-user monitoring (RUM)
  • No custom backend to maintain
